Joao graduated from Universidade Fernando Pessoa, Porto, Portugal in 2004 and came to the UK in 2005, where he worked as an associate in Wales and the South East of the UK, before moving to the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire area.
Joao completed his diploma in Endodontics at Warwick University in 2015 and is a member of the British Endodontics Society.
When not working, Joao likes traveling to exotic places, fine cuisine, good books and he is also a cinema buff.
Marylene has over 15 years of experience in both NHS and private clinical services in the UK and India.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in 1997 and was awarded the Cristovam da Gama Barreto gold medal in Prosthodontics. She was also the first women President of the Indian Dental Association for the state of Goa. Her interests include Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Cosmetics and Conservative dentistry.
Marylene is a friendly and approachable dentist who aims to provide the best possible dental care to her patients, whilst maintaining a comfortable environment for them. She is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys playing the piano and baking.
Dr Shonia Atchu graduated from King's College London in 2020. She completed her Foundation Training in North London. Following that, she ventured into Dental Core Training in Oral Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in King's Lynn. There she gained skills in minor oral surgery, dealing with dento-facial emergencies, and gained great exposure to oral cancer.
Shonia is a keen learner and does her best to improve herself on a daily basis. She plans to continue her career development by going on courses. Recently, she gained her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She believes in providing the best care to her patients and often times goes out of her way to achieve this.
Outside of dentistry, Shonia is a big foodie - enjoys cooking, occasionally baking and enjoys visiting new places and restaurants with friends. She also enjoys outdoor activities and keeping active.
Katherine qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Dental School in 2014. After qualifying she developed a keen interest in the management of periodontal disease, this led her to study for a MSc in Clinical Periodontology at The University of Central Lancashire, which she is due to complete in the summer of 2022.
The treatment of periodontitis allows Katherine to combine her excellent communication skills with her clinical abilities to help patients reach periodontal stability. Katherine gains tremendous job satisfaction from supporting patients on their journey to achieve periodontal stability. Currently she splits her time between practices treating complex cases of gum disease on a referral basis, but still spends a small amount of time working as a general dentist in London.
Outside of dentistry Katherine enjoys outdoor adventures, and cooking inspired by her travels.

His training has equipped him with advanced skills in managing complex cases, including the removal of impacted teeth, cysts, tumours, and minor oral pathologies.

Nicola graduated from Leeds University in 1991. She has worked at Histon Dental Surgery since 2008.
Nicola completed a year course in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and likes to keep up to date with all aspects of general dentistry.
Outside of work Nicola likes to keep fit, cookery and spending time with her family.
Konstantinos graduated from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
After graduation he held positions in the Army, the University of Athens and in private practice, with a keen and pioneering interest in delivering Laser Assisted Dentistry.
In 2012 he registered with the GDC and is looking after private and NHS patients.
He is a keen learner and does his best to improve himself on a daily basis having an interest in minimally invasive dentistry.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience and his friendly manner and approach is looking after and supports patients on their journey.
In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, working out and playing golf.
Felicity has been in dentistry for 11 years, 9 of which were as a dental nurse. In 2021, she qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Essex with a distinction.
She believes patient education is the most important aspect of oral health. Whilst providing an empathetic approach to patient care she strives to make you feel at ease and help you on your journey to a clean and healthy mouth.
She loves to travel the world, experience different cultures and different foods. In her spare time, she plays for a local netball team and is an avid charity shop shopper.
Amal graduated as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist from the University of the Highlands & Islands in 2015 and is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She has experience working as a Dental Therapist and Oral Health Promoter treating children & adults with dental anxiety and behavioural & medical complexities.
She has a keen interest in paediatric dentistry and creating a calm environment for her patients. Her patients compliment her gentle hygiene delivery.

Sophia qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Essex in 2021 after working as a dental nurse since 2015.
Sophia enjoys making every patient’s experience in the dental surgery a positive one, and is passionate about supporting patients in their journey to oral health.
In her spare time, Sophia enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and travelling.
Tannaz joined the practice in April 2018. She is very interested in Dentistry and Management of the practice. Tannaz likes to look after the patients and keep them happy.
Since her time here, Tannaz was promoted to Practice Manager in 2021 and has now been promoted to Area Manager in 2023.
In her spare time Tannaz enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym.
Iwona has joined the practice in 2007 as a Receptionist and progressed to become the Practice Manager in 2010. Her job role is to ensure the efficient day to day management of the practice. Previously she has worked at Spire Cambridge Lea hospital in the Department of Sterile Services.
She has gained a degree in Marketing and Management in 2004.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking and keeping active.
